And Blue (Sapphire) Waters…

Our current operation consists of a 120 acre farm in middle Tennessee. The farm is flat to gently rolling with beautiful fresh water sources: springs and a large creek. Fresh, clean water is essential to life and ensuring good health. We made clean, viable water sources our top priority in seeking out the farm we would purchase for our operation. The glistening waters located on our farm inspired us to use the name Saffire–blue waters and fire for the grilled meats.

The farm is a nice mixture of pasture and woods. Lush green pastures full of fescue and clover and beautiful mature trees providing shade and relief from the bright summer sun offer a near perfect balance of sustenance and shelter to the animals on the farm. The pastures are large, clean and uncrowded so that we do not experience problems with filth or disease. By alleviating the diseases caused by dust, muck and overcrowding, we are generally able to keep our animals healthy without the use of antibiotics or other drugs which could possibly be dangerous to humans. We have the optimal setting for producing a high-end and healthy finished product.
